INTRODUCTION¶
This is a documentation of data fields in the 1978 version of SINTRAN III/VS (SIII). It is based on:
-
Listing of files SIN1-GEN to SIN4-GEN. This is produced from NORD-10, S/N 10-54, October 9, 1978.
-
A list from T. Fledsberg, Norsk Data, marked "Data fields 1/9 78".
-
Discussions with the Norsk Data department of development.
In Section 2, the data fields are listed with its name, label name, person responsible and paragraph number in the SINTRAN III listing. They occur in the same order as in the SINx-GEN listings.
Section 3 documents each data field in detail. "Contents" are default contents from listing. The data fields are ordered alphabetically by label name, shown in upper left corner (note that digits precede letters in the alphabetical order). Lower case X denotes the device number. For instance, DTxxR for terminal, in byte means DT01R, DT02R, and so on. In some cases the letters m and n are used.
Section 4 shows the meaning of the different bits in the words DFLAG, TSPEED and TYPRING (see, for instance, DTxxR data field).
Section 5 is a cross reference of library marks. For each library mark the data fields affected are listed. Some library marks are not listed since the relationships are too complex. This applies especially to communication line and communication channel.
