COMPACT FILESTORE CABINET¶

INTRODUCTION¶

The ND FILESTORE cabinet system is a flexible and compact information storage system. Each FILESTORE cabinet may contain various combinations of disks and/or a magtape according to the customer’s needs. This will allow systems with large-size disks to be configured in such a way as to provide greater flexibility. Through use of the FILESTORE system, an optimal combination of fixed and removable disks can be used as backup media. No matter which combinations of storage media are chosen, a convenient backup system is available.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION¶

With the FILESTORE system you can combine various mass-storage devices in order to suit your particular needs. Combinations of a magtape, fixed disks or removable disks can be placed in the FILESTORE cabinet, up to a maximum disk size of 1350 Mb (three 450 Mb Fixed Disk Drives).

The ND 106240 and ND 106241 Compact FILESTORE systems are delivered with ND-110 COMPACT systems.

The FILESTORE system is designed to accommodate combinations of the following disk and tape storage devices:

FILESTORE EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE INSTALLED IN A COMPUTER-ROOM ENVIRONMENT FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE.
