INTRODUCTION¶

The ND 597 is a free-standing unit which provides for the transfer of disk data from one CPU to another. This produces a greater degree of efficiency and utilization of the device and makes hook-up of cables unnecessary. Thus the operator's functions are made simpler and easier to perform.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION¶

The Device Switch is connected to the two CPU's by standard cables.

It is important to note that the system must be stopped before switching can be performed.
